Service Overview

Skills Development

Goal-oriented programming to build life skills, employment readiness, and self-determination.

How we deliver it

Whether the focus is budgeting, cooking, digital literacy, employment exploration, or self-advocacy, we break goals into practical steps. Progress is tracked in partnership with case managers and families when the individual wants them involved.

What this includes

  • Life skills: budgeting, cooking, and household management
  • Employment readiness and vocational exploration
  • Digital literacy and communication skills
  • Self-advocacy training with ISP-aligned progress tracking

Funding & eligibility

Many individuals access this service through Kansas HCBS waivers. We work directly with MCO care coordinators and case managers to align authorizations, ISP goals, and documentation requirements. Not sure if you qualify? Send a referral and we will help route the conversation—no clinical details required in the first message.
